Veroniccas Aalborg-blog: This café is one of my favourite spots
Good morning from café Delimarché. One of my favorite coffee and breakfast spots in town.
Even though I live very close to the cafe, and am a very well equipped “almost barista” at home, I still come here all the time to grab a cup of joe alone or get a bite with a friend.
I absolutely love their morning menu which comes in the most adorable plating. Delicious homemade bread, baked eggs, fresh tomatoes with cottage cheese and avocado, apricot jam, brie cheese, should I continue? In a nutshell, it’s a major morning treat.
I never eat breakfast early at home, but I fancy myself a very late one in tapas style, which is exactly what you can get at the café.
I love sharing a meal here with a friend, but I also come here quite often alone, to work. The interior is minimalistic, modern and creative, and together with the big windows it really creates a great working atmosphere. It’s definitely one of my favourite reading cafés.
Something I never leave Delimarché without, is a box of their home made Almonds. For a vegetarian and absolute almond freak, these babies get an A in my book.
And not to forget, the Devil is in the details, Delimarché’s to-go cups are crafted with coffee love all over the place.
